Planning guide
How to choose a service for a hair change
Match what you want to change with the service that does it.
Start with what bothers you
Think about what you want to change. A shape that has grown out needs a cut. A shade you are tired of needs color. Hair that feels flat may need highlights or a new style. Say it in your own words; the stylist can name the service.
Know when to start with a consultation
A big change, such as going much lighter or much shorter, is worth talking through first. A consultation lets the stylist look at your hair, hear what you want and plan the steps. Some changes take more than one visit.
Think about upkeep
Ask how often the new look needs a trim or touch-up, and how long styling takes at home. Pick a change that fits your routine. That way you still like your hair weeks later.
